Someone Like You
Synopsis
Jane Goodall (Judd) is a jilted late night TV talent booker who is determined to succeed both professionally and romantically. When her perfect boyfriend Ray Brown (Kinnear) decides to end their relationship, she starts researching wildlife to come up with a philosophy to explain why her relationship went awry. She ends up comparing human males to non-committal, roaming animals.
Due to leaving her place in the hopes of entering Ray's, she frantically needs a place to stay. Finding temporary digs with her womanizing co-worker Eddie (Jackman), she decides to also study his prototypical example of manhood to aid her in her quest.
While discussing her findings with her best friend (Tomei) and editor of a men's magazine, Jane is convinced to write a pseudonymous sex column, which quickly becomes a sensation across the country.
